ABOUT
Viktorija Pilatovic is a Lithuanian-born jazz vocalist, composer, and lyricist based in Spain, whose music blends poetic storytelling with sophisticated harmonies, virtuosity, and emotional depth. She is widely recognized as one of today’s most original contemporary jazz voices.
With five albums of original music — Seven Letters (2026), Skybridges (2023), The Only Light (2019), Stories (2017), and Nica’s Blues (2013) — her work has been featured by NPR Live Sessions, DownBeat, RTVE, and JazzinEurope. Her album The Only Light was nominated for Best Jazz Album at the Carles Santos – Premis de la Música Valenciana. Saxophonist Greg Osby describes her as “among the best of the new wave of contemporary singer/songwriters.”

Viktorija has collaborated with internationally renowned artists including Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Banda Magda, Petros Klampanis (co-producer of Skybridges), Jorge Pardo, Antonio Serrano, and Perico Sambeat. She appears alongside Sílvia Pérez Cruz on Sambeat’s Voces, is featured on Osby’s Minimalism, and recorded the award-winning song “Nu Brasil” with Sergio Pereira.
She has performed in over 20 countries and at major festivals such as the Madrid Jazz Festival, Supernova Jazz Blast (Denmark), Vilnius Mama Jazz, Sopot Jazz, and Grenoble Métropole Jazz Festival, among others.
Viktorija holds a double bachelor’s degree from institutions in The Netherlands and Lithuania, and a master’s degree from Berklee College of Music (Valencia), where she currently teaches part-time. She also gives masterclasses at Musikene (San Sebastián) and at international jazz programs and festivals including Abu Dhabi (UAE), Gnaoua Jazz & World Festival (Morocco), and Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts (China).
She is currently touring with her quartet featuring Albert Palau (piano), Miquel Álvarez (double bass), and Quique Ramírez (drums).
